The Rochester City School District 2026-27 calendar is now available, featuring essential dates, school and program contact information, and more. Stay informed and plan ahead for the upcoming school year.
Start Smart with Rochester PreK in the RCSD
If you are a city resident and your child will be 3 or 4 years old by December 1, enroll them for FREE PreK starting this fall.
PreK is available at 50 locations citywide, including two new centers and includes multilingual classes, potty training, community aftercare options and bus pass if needed.
Teach Rochester
The Rochester City School District is committed to recruiting, growing, and retaining a diverse and highly effective workforce that reflects the community we serve. Through Teach Rochester, we are building pathways for individuals who are passionate about education to become classroom teachers and school leaders in RCSD.
